Have you ever considered investing outside of the Seattle or Washington area?

Are there any weekly/monthly real estate investment clubs in the DMV (DC/Maryland/VA) area that anyone could recommend?

I'm not in NYS, but in WA you can google the law and find what is required.Going off the top of my head here for WA:Deliver a copy personally to the tenant.If the tenant is absent, by leaving a copy with someone of suitable age and discretion at the rental unit AND mailing a copy.If neither of the above are possible, by posting a copy on a conspicuous place on the premises, handing a copy to any person living there, AND mailing a copy.There's also a form that goes along with notifying them.

I live in WA state and bought my first 4 properties in Ohio.Word to the wise, it can look good on paper but the old saying "you get what you pay for" holds very true in a lot of those markets.

I read online that apparently for WA state there's a state and national broker exam.

I live in dc area and could do it especially at inauguration etc but for us it’s not worth it in the sense of our house is our house - not someone else’s.

I live in WA State and the numbers in my home market don't look great for me, so I'm looking out of state at SFH's and trying to nail down a city/market to get started in.

Just a solid single family home, well built, in an area that is perfect for long term appreciation due to proximity to DC.
