Hi all,I just bought a high end, Victorian near downtown McKinney, TX. 

Its a old Victorian home so lots of wood threw out the house.  

The apartments are in an old Victorian home that has been split on three floors.  

I’m a licensed contractor, and have years of experience working with houses, so I’m used to seeing all kinds of houses, horrible houses, ugly houses, houses with an obscene layout, houses with the most gorgeous Victorian fishscaling, you name it.

We own a fairly well-maintained Victorian in the Downtown Colorado Springs area, and we know that there are certain levels of 'ok' to a rental property.

The building is an old Victorian with a very high, steep roof. 

I would always use this in any Victorian or Queen Ann

I've done about a dozen major rehabs of Victorians in Grant Park (Atlanta zoo).For one thing: It doesn't matter how well you budget, you will go over.

Forgive me in advance for any typos.Here are the facts I am contract with 10 unit all brick 3 story apt building 5 units are studios and 5 are 1 bedrooms located in one Columbus Ohio most vibrant neighborhoods Victorian Village/Short North area for 599k with 4k closing costs.

We are dual American/Canadian citizens so we can buy in both countries and are open to investing out of state/country so although we love where our house is located we aren't even living in it and probably won't be for at least the next ten years anyway so I don't know anymore if it makes sense to hang onto it.The neighborhood is one of those cutesy ones where they've built all the homes to look like dollhouse/victorian homes, walk up brownstones with charming old english street lights etc.
