Might coat you $500 or more for a hour but will save you a $15k bill from a contractor who simply sees a easy way to make money off off you! 

I’m thinking with Metro, University Hospitals, and Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Med School in the area, there should be no shortage of travel medical professionals coming to the area!

i think this is a decision only you can make. im in a similar boat (house hacking my primary) and considering renting the whole thing out to get a solo home for myself. certainly a lot of appeal in that, given how much work goes into the house hack. but whether or not the numbers on cash flow align is up to you. personally i dont think $150 (seems like about 12%?)

Is there some reason that you or the company simply don't discuss what happened and use this as an opportunity to turn a negative post into a positive one for the company?  

The person in the response above who got crushed by a $5000 repair never did have $100-200/mo. cashflow.

We did give 50k deposit up front which he says he will use towards finishing up.
