There has been a lot of press around assumable mortgages recently given how high rates are. 

Even though this grip strip is impossible to get apart, they need to be pressed together so that they do not develop gaps in a year or two.3- Don't glue it or put a screw thru it.

No offense but I think when your current property manager retires you’ll be hard pressed to find someone willing to go on the visits with you.

When I rehabbed the basement I tore out the existing drywall ceiling and added sound-proofing insulation followed by a 5/8" fire-rated drywall thinking that would be enough, but apparently the tenants can hear us walking, the dogs claws (we have hardwoods) as well as the TV.

There is still another month in planned rehab, so nothing pressing, but would love any recommendations people have!

They are just raw press board now.

So when I moved out, I kept the furniture -- including a huge wall-mounted TV -- and rented it out on Airbnb full-time.
