HiI am interested in investing in a property (located in New Jersey) with a few other investors. 

Granted MFH are more common in rougher parts of central jersey and my purchasing power can't acquire me something in North Jersey here homes are much more desirable when it comes to appreciation and schools and safety.

If you walked up to Michael Jordan and said, "I want to learn sports" he would walk away.

They may look promising on paper but often underperform in reality due to management challenges and unexpected expenses.Given your situation, a SFH in a good area of South Jersey could be a solid starting point.

If its near Jersey City or anywhere in Hudson and Bergen county, I have developers that buy site unseen 24/7 if in a good area, decent lot size and reasonable asking price.

I would love to connect with people in Northern New Jersey that are utilizing the Medium Term Rental strategy locally; specifically furnished rooms that are being rented.

It seems like New Jersey is not aligning with your expectations, especially with the rental laws, difficulty finding deals, and the expensive market.
