They claim it's discrimination to ask for id and that I am assuming they are illegal immigrants because I wrote them a letter in Spanish to give them options.

Immigrants - Lots of high income earners move into the states for jobs and can't buy right away and don't know how they will like the area or how long they will stay. 

Your immigration laws take people from other countries much easier than your Northern neighbours.

Liz,  I don't think the majority of LOers are targeting 'illegal immigrants,' ESLers and people with minus 600 credit scores... if they plan on 'doing deals' for very long?
