.: The fees are about market rate for PM companies although the repair is a little high imo - the issue sounds like they procured a bad tenant.

@Sarah HartsteinThe way you spoke so highly of your success embodies what investing is all about.The more I research investors who are successfully investing outside the country, the more I feel inclined to shift my goals toward international real estate investments rather than focusing solely on opportunities within the U.S.I will most certainly keep you in mind once I am ready to expand my portfolio! 

High end vs mid range?

*Location Matters — Neighborhoods that have high demand, quality schools and close proximity to shops and services tend to draw buyers willing to pay a premium for a well-renovated house.

Is this price differential largely a matter of how high-end you make the finishes?

On the other hand, sometimes fame and celebrity can get somebody singled out to be harassed when they would not possibly have been at had they not been a high profile individual..

I am broken record here on the forums - I highly suggest checking out as many in-person networking events as possible!  

Their fees and interest rates were high, but they had the least restrictive approval terms from what I gathered.

@JD Martin agree 10,000%What I am surprised about is I had a call with someone in Austin today and in sw Florida and they both said things are awful and prices are dropping at high rates - curious don't hear as much chatter here about that as it could be an opportunity 

But if costs are high or demand is uncertain, holding onto the land while monitoring the market might be the better play.
