They might need housing for people relocating to work at their headquarters and would want to point employees in the right direction. 

It does seem like a great way for you get out of that "employee" status in your business so you can scale.  

It makes total sense that I would need to prove my company is profitable for some time before borrowing.what would happen if I qualify and aquire a loan while I'm still an employee, then become self employed?

That's like a company that does software development giving employees a bonus for referring other good programmers automatically makes the company a "scam". 

In addition, if you are self-employed with no full-time employees you may wish to consider opening a Solo 401k instead of a self-directed IRA as it has several advantages over an IRA LLCsuch as much higher contribution limits, direct checkbook control (i.e. no need to have the account at a speciality trust company), ability to take a 401k loan, exclusion from unrelated debt finance income tax with respect to investment in real estate acquired with non-recourse financing, etc.

I've done several closings there and the employees at the village hall are some of the nastiest, rudest people I have ever encountered. 

I managed three teams consisting of 3-4 employees each and led all their projects simultaneously, while overseeing accounting, marketing, and financial operations.

For example, I broke down and bought a forms package for $1,000 that saved me so much time and improved my company, particularly as I brought on employees.
