He rents out part of the land for pastures to place cows etc. and then some parts lets them use for tree farms and also seasonal events.The front part he reconditioned an old farm house and has a bed and breakfast with an organic garden for the corporate type wanting to get away from the big cities and take a vacation. he is retired so he doesn't mind just making a little profit and covering the taxes on the land.

Ok, I did the math and it looks something like this:In my little corner of the Atlanta market a good number of the middle class home buyers want and can qualify for homes in the $100 - $200k range, which for the most part are your garden variety, modern 3-5 bedroom room homes with 2 -3 baths, less than 1/4 an acre and a two car garage.

Most long term parks require tenants to fully skirt their RV and most tenants who really are staying long term will build an addition, deck or patio, install a storage shed, create a garden, and show other evidence that they have made this their permanent home.
