If I'd rather lessen my gains and reduce all possible energy into my business and manage managers than I think I'll invest in index funds.

The big houses are all pretty comparable in offerings but fidelity and vanguard had the best index funds with low expense ratios last time I was looking into it.

:)One thing that´s great about investing out of state (or internationally in my case), is it forces you to choose rationally depending on your strategy as an investor.Generally speaking I´ve found slower growth, tertiary markets in the mid-west, that rank high on the affordability index, best for cash flow ROIs.
