If the REALTOR gave you false information, file a complaint with the Broker and demand (a) they refund the money, or (b) they cover the cost of removing the bad Tenant.

The reason I am posting this is at the end of the day is I have no idea what this townhouse is worth so I really do not know if 495k is SUPER crazy absurd or not... if this property is worth only 450k then it's a NO.  

Anyone that knows how much it costs to build an ADU knows how absurd this is.

Well Henry that statement is completely false .. there were many investors etc that got crushed who were not unqualified when they took out their debt.

Electricity cost in CA is absurd.

You can get years of interest only, non recourse, and absurdly low rates.

You would think that the media would embrace park owners who bring these old properties back to life and preserve affordable housing (but at a slightly higher rent) but instead they take just one or two unhappy residents out of communities that have 100 or more households and build the false narrative that all residents are unhappy with the trade-off being higher rents and a higher quality of life.
