Congrats for thinking about how to be an entrepreneur before you ever even get into the rat race.

I could probably finish a business degree (finance) in 2 to 3 years and my thinking is that it will help me make the contacts I need as well as the tools I need to be a successful entrepreneur.  

As someone who was an entrepreneur for 15 years, running countless businesses of all types, I'd say their fixed expenses are between 27k and 32k a month.

I agree completely that being PREPARED is the most important overall though.I have been meeting with potential Private Investors/Partners (they bring the money, I bring the deal and PM) with a WIDE variety of 'styles and wealth'..... meaning plumbers, engineers, retired farmers and entrepreneurs with networth in the 8 digit range. 

For one of my courses this semester, I have an assignment to interview an entrepreneur and would love to interview someone who has invested in real estate.

Entrepreneurs tend to seek other pathways.
