hello,I would suggest going to a busy lumber yard - not like Home Depot - but a lumber yard and ask a manager there who is consistently busy and they know has a good reputation in that area.

Install a quality porcelain tile with a "flex" type of thin-set.All the problems I've seen have been when a cheap ceramic tile was used on a dimensional lumber sub-floor.
