My wife is essential worker, so she leaves home every day, I work from home and I have to keep an eye on the kid too.Our apartment has carpets in bedroom and living room, with foam padding underneath, but the building construction is really poor and cheap, and when kid is running on carpet, walls do vibrate.Neighbor downstairs apparently has had a history of complaining and banging on people's doors in the past.

I believe it would be a holding company with all of the properties underneath it with their own LLC's.I agree it's a bit complex and I plan to talk about it all a lot more once I fully grasp what's going on.

Check to see if the property is held as a "condo" or a "townhome" (where each owner owns the land underneath his or her building, and share only in the common areas)- the term 'townhome' does not designate the "look" of the unit (like a two story versus a flat, garden style / one level place)-that is a commonly misunderstood misnomer.

My guess is that drought conditions for last 3-4 yrs have caused the soil to move and that's why the foundation seems to have moved.

Sometimes it means installing piers *underneath* the foundation, which are usually long enough to go through unstable soil and either hit rock or more solid soil
