The payoff will include interest calculated to the closing date, plus any junk fees they choose to add -which you may attempt to have removed (fax fee, closing statement fee, prepayment penalties, etc..).Countrywide was famous for adding prepayment penalties for loans that had no early payoff penalty in the note.
