Either get a fire proof safe or bank locker and now a days there are a lot of cloud based online storage solutions available as well but they will of course only have scanned copies not originals.

Honestly the buyer is in a favorable position at this point because they could easily cloud title if there was a disagreement.The safest thing may be to specify this in the contract, but it isn't standard to TREC contracts.
