There are players that you may want to deal with in the future that may be concerned that you would slander them from the rooftops over the slightest of offensives. 

So, instead of looking for problems, they overlook them.This is why I learned not to bother showing an apartment until it was move-in ready, too.You can't paint to suit everyone's tastes, but you can paint a color that's not offensive to anyone. 

The expectation that you would save all that money all that time is probably a bit unrealistic as well in my estimation (no offense intended whatsoever)... just that you will (or should) find a better interim purpose for the money. 

I'd take this as a learning opportunity rather than taking offense.

That's the federal offense to get worked up over, it seems. ? 

Sometimes they even encourage you to check them out as an offensive strategy to discourage you from doing it.

This may look like its a slow process, but from my perspective, this is boht an offensive and defensive move.
