Noting that a partnership is merely a pass-through entity, not a taxpayer, and all income and deductions were passed through to the appropriate taxpayer (although possibly not properly reported as they were accrued) why would this have any effect on the 1031 deferral of a sellers' gain and depreciation recapture where the gain and depreciation amounts have been correctly calculated and attributed to each respective tenant in common?
