Unfortunately, I've positioned myself as the solution to all problems so I hear about all of it.This week alone I've had to deal with a tenant threatening to leave because another is eating his food, the same tenant having a girlfriend over and causing all kinds of issues, another tenant leaving a room key in a different city, roommates leaving all utensils in the sink, etc.

She said she is not moving, and is demanding me to extend the lease because she knows her rights -since we’re in COVID I’ve to work with her until she is ready to move and she needs 6 months to be ready.Honestly I feel scared in my own house since she threatened the other day.

I would review both CDs to make sure they did not say these items (rate/terms) within the time they needed to and if they did violate them you can threaten to report them to the state board.

Don't threaten eviction court, it wouldn't stand, the judge would side with her because of her long rental history as long as she's current in rent, so make sure your notice is proper.

@Ann Howell as you found out the middle man broker like Maverick is just a high powered marketing company they have no direct control or input with the provider except to threaten to dump them because the provider is hurting their rep like whats happening here.. but that does not help you the damage is already don. ..

The tenant has threatened me before in the past over text messages but has been civil in person.I was going to give notice to enter the unit and schedule a locksmith (to open the storm door) and hopefully change the lock in the storm door so we can both have keys, and schedule a police officer for a civil standby.
