The worst for my personality are the New Yorkers in FL because they come of so brash and it was culture shock.

@Raquel Doheny  thank you.. if you have never been to Charleston I highly recommend it.. its a great tourist town.. shopping food culture history.. and there is a section called south of Broad with museum quality mansions one after another.. horse drawn carriage rides etc.we just snagged a lot there and will do our first multi million dollar build.. not big dollars like SF Bay ARea or at least the Peninsula but pretty heady stuff for South East.

yeah, they will be interesting to see, although I won't be going in person -- China is not often put in the spotlight, culturally, for the west's observation.

But for larger overhangs (islands etc) & to avoid having to put in supports that you hit your knees on etc I lay in a piece of 18 gauge steel & epoxy the slab to it.They do offer a metal support that cost around $75 a piece plus install but I can do the steel plate cheaper & cover a greater area.We regret doing one kitchen with the thin 'Chinese' granite.It cracked around the sink & the surface scratched easily.
