@Helen Zhang I cant argue with facts on declining population, but I can tell ya that there is not a shortage of tenants whatsoever!

My guess is that there was no screening whatsoever; happens a lot with old-timers - and newbies - who never knew that they could have a tenant screened, so they never bothered to learn.

If I wasn't such a tightwad who was obsessed with design perfection I'd just hire a danged decorator to tell my crews what to do, then gnash my teeth in silence when it bothered the heck out of me but sold anyway.
