As a wholesaler if you don't tell at least 3 lies within your 1st two deal you won't be allowed in the wholesalers club.... j/k :-)Here's my nickel of knowledge: Whether its a little lie, big lie or slight bending of the truth, if you feel it compromises your morals to the point you can't live with yourself then by all means stay clear from it.

Moral of the story - DO NOT FEEL BAD IF YOU HAVE TO BACK OUT OF A DEAL THAT IS BAD FOR YOU - real estate agents deal with this kind of thing all the time - your agent needs to know exactly what properties work for you and which don't - it's not about being too picky - it's about setting parameters and using those as a guide to identify cash flowing properties.

Not to mention the moral hazard of temporarily cancelling forclosures/ tax sales.Don’t get me wrong I’m for social safety nets, but instead of putting the pressure on tenants your removing the safety net for the individual taking the risk.

I worry that in IRAs and 401ks a lot of my funds could be in companies that do morally objectionable things, and I'd have no idea that I was part of the problem by motivating them to maximize profits by any means necessary.
