Vancouver is a bedroom community and if your going south to PDX traffic can be horrible..but if they are not driving during commute hours should be OK.we get a little weather in Oregon s well.. we had an ice storm also.. not nearly as bad as Texas and summer well this is the best summer weather other than the SF bay area  or prime LA..
