.- If you are really wanting to get into STR's, I would suggest that you try and position yourself as a "Professional Host" or a Co-Host.

Lots of options for you here, ultimately you need to do what you feel comfortable doing.Maybe get a co-signer or see if she knows anyone that could be put on the lease with her and help her pay the expenses, or suggest she tries to get some sort of housing assistance.Again at the end of the day you are the one that needs to live with whatever decision you make.
