I am a 21 year old and I’m currently employed as a 1099 contractor (intern) for a digital marketing company and have been working there for a little over a year now (Haven’t filed taxes yet).

We had someone submit an application with a fake Visa and fake letter of employment that obviously looked real.

Employment: I've got three international students with solid job incomes and have been covering their rent with no issues for the past two years (2 of them don't have parents in this country).

By the time their information gets to you from PadSplit, they've already had their background checked, income and employment verified, and their eviction history has been checked.

I plan on holding my license under my employer, since they are a managing broker- Will my managing broker see deals that I complete if my license is held under them? 

I came out of that employment so wounded at what I saw and how it affected the two principals I swore I would never be  a syndicator the downside risk was just to REAL. 

While we are both gainfully employed and have good income, our DTI (Debt to Income) is obviously incredibly skewed even though our properties cash flow. 

Hopefully they will get caught and never steal peoples money againHi Sandy,I’m out $20K+ because of them, and as a self-employed single Mum of two teenaged girls, this is a huge blow.
