In reading through all the comments, i feel like the deal is more in the tenants and not the property itself. as long as they are decent(paying rents on time, less turnovers, no crimes) i should be ok. 

The condo was huge, the view was beautiful, and the decor was done in some timeless pink and teal (pink wallpaper, green/teal carpets, and the rest to match).  

The founders had a reason for including the right to bear arms, and I believe their thinking was inspired, and timeless.

His real estate books are timeless, and I'd consider him the grandaddy of real estate investing.

From when certain task should be done and timeless etc. 

Tile fashions change also so make sure if you plan to sell to go with a timeless design.   

When I rehab, I fix it up slightly better than other rentals (but not cherried up) - it looks new, is as bullet-proof as possible (durable), and a timeless look so I'm not remodeling major items in 5-10 yrs.
