Looking to get my feet wet in the forums and soak up as much knowledge from everyone that I can along the way.

I'm pretty conservative with my approach I feel like, but am open-minded to learn from others experiences and just soak up as much as I can. 

Soak up all the valuable information they are disclosing to you.Also, you can join a local REI club in your area to get more insight and information from investors.Congratulations and I wish you the best in your real estate investing career. 

Soak up all the free information from the articles, blogs, and podcasts. 2) Join your local real estate investors club and network with local investors and real estate professionals in your area.3) Interact with the experienced investors on here and pick their brains.Once you get a deal brewing, bring the deal here so the experienced ones can help you close it correctly.You are on the right track.

Turns out it has been leaking for quite some time and a lot of the subfloor under the tub had been soaked. 

You also have experience with real estate investing.My only recommendation to you would be to soak up all the information on here, go out and get some deals, and reach out to us if you have any questions about closing the deal.Other than that, you're doing a nice job! 

That is when I found BP, I have listened to all of the podcasts and have been soaking up content in the articles and forums on the website.  

BiggerPockets has a wealth of information at your disposal, so be a sponge and soak it up.Second, I would consider joining a real estate investment club in your area so you can network with other investors and real estate professionals local to you.
