I feel people should just stick to places they feel safe.

A difficult, but safe approach is to pay for a 6 or 12 month option to purchase the office building.  

They may even pay for the tenant to stay in a hotel until the home is safe again.As for the tenants, I think you've gotten yourself into a pickle by letting this go long enough that they can claim health issues.

The area is loaded with men on 1-2 year contracts who have homes some where else and they just need 1-2 years of safe, clean, comfortable housing and the only other option is seedy hotels.  

That way, if something happens with one property, the others are safe.

I just want to make sure everything is safe.

I assumed that was a good thing and the 5% K&T wasn't a problem since everything was working correctly and safely.

I'm in a safe community where crime is low, so we don't have to worry about squatters, missing appliances, etc.
