I'd vent those fart fans to the outside asap, and check your attic for mold as well as inspect the roof, decking and trusses/rafters for moisture damage/ premature decomposition.

It's called exponential growth and to say it's "NOW OVER" is a bit premature.  

I have had some damage but just to carpets, although it has required me to change the carpet and pad prematurely in some cases.  

We charge a $20 posting fee with each legal notice we must serve.Nip the behavior in the bud... using their security deposit prematurely is simply not an option... they need to know this from the start.
