The other risk is that if you come in and kick over the hornet's nest, one or more of the neighbors could go to land court and claim "adverse possession".NC might be different, but here in MA, if you use the property of another, "openly, continuously and notoriously" for a period of 20 years, you can file an action and potentially own that property.If you really want to remove that road, you need to block it off for at least a day to break the "continuously" element of the test.

@Hugo Zamarripa because the bank has to approve the sales price and RE agent commission and they want to give up as little money as possible, and some banks can be notoriously slow in this process.

@Alexander Quan 1) the penalty for committing mortgage fraud (which is what that would be) is, from a quick google search "Under U.S. federal and state laws, mortgage fraud can result in up to 30 years in federal prison, and up to $1 million in fines"2) you posted about possibly committing said fraud on BP with an account that shows your full name3) Most (if not all) owner-occupy mortgages have clear language that you must occupy them, so you can't just let it sit there empty for 45 days (this is an assumption, will depend on what your mortgage language says).Overall sounds like a shady way to go about starting off your investing career.

Allan Hancock College is there also, employs around 400 people.Home to the 20th Space Wing, this paired with the air-force base supports an economy also driven by tech, innovation and industry.Major employers that support the area are UCSB, air-force Base, Dignity Health Central Coast, SB Cottage Hospital, Raytheon Co..There is prison there.Two airports somewhat nearby: Santa Barbara airport - direct flights to Dallas, Denver, LV, Oakland, Phx, SF and Seattle.
