NETWORK!!!

I've realized that embracing all types of Investors and expanding my Network in every way aligns with my Goals and benefits the Investing Community as a whole.

It's always good to add like minded people to each others networks.

If you don't already have boots-on-the-ground and a trusted network, it's going to be tougher to do.

I may start with house hacking to build confidence, take advantage of owners financing (this will be my first home), and to build my network first. 

Networking will be key here.

i have people in my network who find deals; they get paid if I buy them; i diligence them; and then my PMs manage them.i didn't look at your profile, but do you already own rentals? 

As the years have progressed, I've seen a healthy combo of appreciation & cashflow has continued to increase as market rents have gone up.To start off, I'd attend some local meet ups and network a bit, and start analyzing some deals.

@Ike Okwerekwu Recommend exploring as many sources as possible to get referrals AND cross-reference them to get as much accurate information as possible.Check out NARPM.com, BP’s Property Manager Finder (BiggerPockets: The Real Estate Investing Social Network), etc.Also, encourage you to learn from the mistakes of others - by reading posts here on BiggerPockets about owners not having their expectations met by their current Property Management Company.

I personally spend about 50K a year in masterminds and always get my money back just through network of individuals you get access to.
