Document all of what you do if you are going to get it done for them, and/or if you cut them a check then make sure it is in writing that it was all done and they cannot come back to you at a later date asking for more money/mitigation.  

Lawn cutting/snow removal you can get quotes for, plan for some vacancy, property management software if you will use any.Hope this helps.

They do all the work and then they take a cut.

At the planning commish meeting they said we will approve it but you need to cut density by 10 lots..

It is usually fairly cut and dried.

Unless you believe in the location, most likely, I will try to sell it and cut my losses. 

In each instance, fault was on person B (Yourself in this scenario) and NOT on person A who the tree trunk was on there property but limbs overhanging neighbors, AS LONG AS they had readily allowed and made no conflict to person B cutting out/down whatever was projecting onto there property line. 

Many of the entities involved in this line of investment are cut throat and liars to the core.
