When someone wants to "pick my brain", I recommend that great steak restaurant and let them know my wife / business partner will be with me and that we appreciate them offering to pick up the tab.

For example, an RV Park that also had a restaurant on site and this qualified the applicant to go through SBA.  

In other words, you don't buy a restaurant franchise or other retail business, without calculating cost of employees to run it.

Suncadia is a resort property with two hotels, 400 vacation homes, four swimming pools, four restaurants, and two golf courses.

Their restaurants average about 5 million minimum in sales and some do 10 million annually which is staggering as it compares to a dine in Cheesecake factory with much larger tickets per person.They give employee chance from within to partially own and operate ONE store.

. - Downtown location, near restaurants and a 3 min walk to train station- Only 2 off street parking spots, street is permit parking only but there is free parking down the street- Units have just been completely renovated- The city does not have any ordinances against short term rentalsThe biggest hurdles for me are: we're about to go into a slump/down season; potential parking issues; and if one of the other units were rented long term - dealing with the hassles related to that.

Buy at the local restaurants, use peoples names, tip well. 

The closer you are to the beaches and to the restaurants the better.The regulations are friendly.

In addition to being near the street car, we were surrounded by historic buildings such as the Anne Rice Estate House and a variety of the city's highest ranked restaurants that are regularly featured on travel channels such as Shaya.
