And it makes the house truly amazing, but it adds cost and time, and often doesn't add to the sales price. 8 years into this and I'm finally making myself resist the urge to treat houses like one I'm going to live in, and try to only add "extras" if they're going to make the house sell faster or bring more money on the sales price.
