I’ve hit my financial goal and can quit buying houses. 2025 goal: pay off my last two 401k loans I used to buy a couple houses and enjoy a second home we just bought for ourselves in November.

It is not an easy thing to run a property when your customers are horrible haha.I recommend student housing with 9 or 10 months lease and run STR during the summer for this property while students are on vacation.

The tenants enjoy using the interface, it is simple to communicate with them as a whole or individually, collect rent payments and see when they are in transit, offer CC payment options at tenants expense, track maintenance request, share documents, and lease the property.Short comings are their financial portion.

I definitely enjoyed this thread, which is odd since I don’t have a short term rental, but I guess a good argument can keep a reader in suspense.

It will be a rare HOA that allows vacation rentals anyway.
