Sometimes, it's a church whose members refused to leave while the area deteriorated around them.

Quite honestly, I was a little tentative posting this question in this forum, but it seemed like the best subject fit.I'm wondering if anyone has ever re-purposed a church building into a multi-family complex?

A little back story on the place, it was originally part of a church monastery and subsequently converted into 3 condos.

You can also try posting an add for part time work on Craigslist, or if it is a more rural community you can call some local churches and see if they know of a retired person that might be interested in helping, do the same with local hardware stores.   

employees give mixed opinions (alot).one supervisor said they own the whole box, but someone owns a house and i get political flyers left on the door step alot and church things..thx, (p.s., this question does not ask about placing Inside a mailbox, thats already known, or the default opinion: no, .....lol...)

My husband Corey and I currently own a condo, a historic church and a single family home, all of which we rehabbed and I now Airbnb.

I was chatting with a guy from church who’s dad bought a place there.

He has a seperate job, and is very active in his church. 

Bribing her with a donation to her church is only going to reduce how much you can pay her for the property so is likely to be counter productive to convincing her to sell at a lower price unless she is stupid.

Does anyone have experience repurposing institutional buildings like schools, churches, or masonic halls?
