I have mentors in my life that may or may not know that they are my mentors.

However, in my opinion, their processes and incentives are misaligned with an investor’s best interests.

@Jessica Privitera When I bought my first SFH we carefully rehabbed it and furnished it.

My advise is to go and see for yourself.

The dumbest thing I’ve ever done was paying off my first two rentals and trying to pay off my primary.

While I’d love to invest locally, most properties here are beyond my price range.Right now, I’m compiling a list of potential properties, underwriting deals, and reaching out to Realtors.

Used them for my last renovation.

It depends if you want the leads or not.In my market agents will host an open house for free as long as they get the leads.
