I am learning about the market here as well and everyone I have talked to so far has been so helpful and generous with their advice.

My general points in dealingwith my agents are: (1) Try to get from them the facts I need rather than opinions.(2) Make clear to them what I want them to do for me.(3) Be generous with them and in time your generosity will be returned.(4) Think more about a long term working relation than immediate interest.(5) Take more responsibility for actions and do not blame the agent for small errors.Recently, an agent of mine send me an email saying a nice piece of propertyjust hit his desk.

I have found the folks here to be very generous in educating their peers and helpful answering any questions you may have. =)Best wishes,Lisa

I feel a few thousand dollars or more for 30 minutes of work is overly generous.

I just wanted to say how grateful I am for all the great advice and information you all so generously share.  

I have been using BP for a while and have gotten enormous amounts of valuable information from the forums and the generous members.

Same as above, some realtors are generous like me and will show you one home without knowing if you're qualified. 

There a half dozen other podcasts out there that I think are amazingly generous with how much quality information is shared for free.  

This place is full of valuable info and such generous people.
