Matt, we started something very simple a year ago and that is fake cameras.

Sewer lines can be inspected by camera. 

.- I put a home depot sign in the front gate that the house is being recorded with camera.

I am certainly trying to delegate, but when I see a 50% mark up on pest control where the vendor didn't even get into every unit, a plumber charging for 2 hours when my cameras only show him there for 20 minutes, and not noticing a double in water usage from one month to the next, I have to be on top of the PM company.  

So 2 things, 1-good cameras/alarm/lighting, 2-either you become very involved or get a manager and house sitter.

Put on some camera & record him in action.

I always look for a company who does thermal imaging of the home used cameras to look where we aren't able to see (behind walls, main-line sewer, etc.) 

The camera work needs a little improvement but the information is there!

I am going to get my girlfriend's camera to take a headshot of myself and then update my profile.

I use a FLIR thermal camera on every inspection.
