@Karla Talancon I'm just getting started as well and knew nothing about it two weeks ago but now feel like I'm getting a halfway decent grasp of the topic.  

And, it's not just newbies, we have old timers, the street corner guys that have been wheeling and dealing from the old days that still can't grasp underlying issues of what they post.

Because of the way I approach life, understanding the "what" surrounding a task helps a great deal in grasping the "how."

I have been reading a lot of forum posts and listened to a few podcasts on Note investing and am getting a better grasp on how it works but i keep coming across the term "balloon Payment".

I don't think people that have lived there and are investing from out of state can really grasp the reality .

I have a solid grasp on the neighborhoods and I also have connections with PM's, contractors and subs.

I am working in property management, have a pretty decent grasp on how buy and hold investing works, but am not quite in a place to do so myself.

Can anyone help me grasp what is happening and where this market is headed?

Sounds like you already have a good grasp of things and are well on your way.
