Seems very likely since you can't monitor your bookings 24/7, such as, overnight, while driving ect. 

It's my professional opinion this is an even more important issue to monitor than 'rent control' and will have a significant impact on property rights.

I'm monitoring local realtor listings for houses up for rent and seeing when they go offmarket but I'm not sure how accurate that kind of research is.

I am going to continue to test now that there is sufficient tourism to Colombia again and try to push it up to $400/night while monitoring occupancy rate and overall returns. 

Well you can definitely monitor a market or two waiting for something to inevitably pop up that probably barely brakes even.

Though, it will require a lot of monitoring and education on your part as well as your tenants.
