He still has a concrete slab, which i doubt he will come back to finish. in addition, i texted him telling him i have another job that he can bid if he wants to (trying to prove to him i am not trying to screw him over), and he never replied. if he wants to fish for his next job instead of having steady work, that's completely his prerogative. thanks for the advice, everyone.

I even trained with some of these guys, hung out with them, and felt like I was on par with them in sales skills when we would role play our scripts but they were killing it and I wasn't.My point here is this: I feel like I've been trying to fish in a small pond for far too long.
