Public school teachers are pushing $100k in many districts.

I used to be a public school teacher and didn’t have much money when I started so I had to BRRRR to build my rental portfolio.  

Pat is a great teacher and I learned a ton from him.

I've been doing this for a few years, and honestly, experience is the best teacher.

My tenants have included four teachers from foreign countries who shared an apartment, Doctors doing their Residencies at local hospitals, and single working professionals who are ok sharing the kitchen and bathroom.My minimum lease term is 1 month, but the majority of my tenants stay 2+ years.As Maurice stated, they are focused on their jobs, and don't care that the apartments do not have dishwashers, washer/dryers, marble countertops or the newest appliances.

For those who had strict parents, domineering bosses or harsh teachers, discipline evokes those memories of restriction and control rather than enablement.

As always I am sure experience is the best teacher, but I do not want to get into something without enough foundation to be successful.

I have spent $997 each on a couple courses from one teacher.  

Most of the buyers I have are in unions, teachers and law enforcement, car sales, bankers, lots of retirees, and several the medical field (nurses and admin and sales, and they are very busy).
