And blue chip markets that increase in value in the long run due to their intrinsic characteristics, while difficult to get into, will give you a better chance of securing future returns.

This is prime blue chip real estate.

If you are renting to Section 8 tenants, even if there is a small chip of pain, they will fail your inspection, regardless to whether it's been tested as having lead or not.

Here are a few items they highlighted - repaint concrete sidewalk which had been previously painted and now chipping and replace a cast iron plumbing stack, which is functioning PERFECTLY, only because it is STARTING to barnacle.

Basically, they hate carpet and a lot of people don't like tile and linoleum can chip and not be a color that people like, etc.
