Are tenants on disability desirable?

She is impeccably dressed etc.She unfortunately now as a senior finds herself with only Social Security Disability and Section 8 Voucher, will be getting assistance to pay her utilities. 

I kept getting poor quality tenant apps so I furnished a couple houses and posted them on Airbnb and earn nearly double previously asking rent and now get upscale Millennials as guests from wealthy places like Boston and Ct.Quite an improvement over the Section 8'ers, felons, large families on disability with huge dogs...Best description of a dog...

Hello everyone,I asked in another forum how I could take over a mortgage loan (37K ) (home value 100-120k) for a disabled family member was told the best course of action is "to find a local lender familiar with the nuances of gifts of equity AND the "principal residence guidelines apply if..." exceptions for if/when you are providing housing for a disabled/sick/retired parent (which you ARE doing it sounds like, so this isn't being sneaky or fraudulent).

At first I was just trying to find a house for my ex-husband who had become disabled.

The VA Loan is not automatically a "zero down" loan, as that benefit is for veterans with a disability rating. 

I went with a 50 year disabled man who has been on Section 8 for a number of years, he's been there going on a year so far.

I keep wondering if there are loans, or grants to disabled veterans who want to flip homes?

The long term first floor tenants are disabled and the reason I even mention this is two fold...renovating the first floor unit would be intrusive to their way of life, however, there may be potential code violations.  

A slip and fall isn't going to wipe out your underlying coverage but if someone dies or becomes permanently disabled the numbers could get very high.
