Had survey done went through red tape with FEMA as to what would be needed to bring homes out of said issues?

I read your posts about getting an inspection on the home prior to closing.When working with an accountant, you want to discuss costs that you incurred prior to closing such as appraisals, inspections, survey's as they will be eligible to be added to your basis when depreciating the property.Best of luck to you in your search for an accountant.

If not you should only use the pre approval to get under contract, no need for an appraisal/inspection/survey.

Hi Justine, There are lots of things to consider in terms of surveys, easements, zoning, civil engineering, watershed, architecture etc etc.

We survey every resident and when a resident lists an experience that is less than excellent, we dispatch our team with cookies and flowers at our expense to address issues and make sure they know they are being heard.  

Does seller have survey available? 

It has been 2 weeks and he still has not done it yet.The buyer needs to decide if he is getting a survey.
