@Sebastian PapworthTo answer your questions, no, I wasn't referring to you specifically and, as one might expect given my latest comments on the matter, I'm happy I sold out of the area (both personal- and project-wise) since I became uncomfortable with the risks.I may add that it's perfectly normal and healthy for us and others to have different opinions and that makes up for a good and interesting debate within a forum like this.

I would say should get our assistance as they have trouble living on their own and going about their daily routine.

And if you have areas say in the basement where you want to make it uncomfortable for the mice there are some flashing light devices you can get.

The more uncomfortable you are, the more potential cash flow.

If you were me would you feel uncomfortable that your neighbores knows how many units you own.

Work with an investor-focused real estate agent who has either house hacked before or works with house hackers routinely. 

If it is a small enough house like this and I do have not much to do, I can just drop my 1hr exercise routine and 1hr lunch walk to do this.

@Matthew Sharman I routinely offer 2-yr leases once a tenant has proven to be good the first year - maintains the home, not too many “stupid trips” and pays on time.
