New user, first time post.Trying to gather info for an HOA Board about possibly having the HOA buy 'bulk' cable TV, Internet (Wi-Fi) with VOIP for use by each owner in a 55 year old and over HOA with 62 dwelling, plus a clubhouse with at least two additional TV usage locations (main clubhouse room, plus exercise room).Cox/Xfinity is the current supplier for the entire property which only has coax cables installed on the property below ground.

Unfortunately there are a ton of asset protection services relying on scare tactic messaging through  social media and the internet which ultimately infiltrates real estate forums such as this leading to confusion and anxiety amongst new investors  and finally the upsell of services that are unnecessary.

Remember your costs will be more for an STR, you'll be paying for a lot of things you wouldn't with an LTR - higher STR insurance, all utilities including internet, supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent etc, upkeep on furniture and linens if damaged, yard maintenance and grass cutting/snow removal, trash removal, etc.  

There are people on the Internet who teach this skill for price- I don't have a direct recommendation, but they're out there.

Emotional support pets are pets- people print up paperwork from the internet so their landlord will allow them to have a pet- they expect their untrained pet to be treated as a service animal, which is a slap in the face to those hard working, trained animals and to the people who train them.

These transactions don't included additional expenses the business incurs like meals, travel, dues, subscriptions, marketing, accounting, licenses, phone, internet, etc.

We removed it, and when with 2 propane heaters (one for the basement and one for the cabin).Some other things to think about:- Hammock- Bug spray- Boot tray for shoes- Snow shovels- Coffee and condiments for when they are snowed in and can't get out- Fly swatter for summer- If no internet service, then consider getting Starlink. 

Its just very rare that this happens and this is mainly paranoia getting into peoples brain that they would need some sort of protection because of some high profile cases that have gone around the internet. 

This all came from a computer, printer and Internet access that was my startup cost never thought about it that way before, but yeah, thanks for sharing.

The requirements are:1 - You must be personable and have the ability to answer questions with more than one word answers.2 - You must have high-speed internet of at least 15 mb/s (preferably 20mb+)3 - You must have a web camera (we record audio and video for all shows) and we do require a decent microphone.
