Great advice Mike, i think there should not be a rush in starting out, "Steady and slow wins the race". try to get as much knowledge  as possible. i am thinking on signing up for real estate classes to become an agent. hope that is a great idea.

Second, whether that portion of the interest is deductible or not depends upon what the distribution is used for (interest racing rules).

I am finally going to make the move to start my journey of getting out of the rat race.

Looking to still do accounting but if I could find something that would break up the 8-5 rat race that would be ideal.

My husband and I are realtors who want out of the rat race, and like many people, I just want security.

I've read enough posts where others say that they wished they had formed a partnership earlier in their investing career because they would have gotten out of the "rat race" sooner. 

I am managing it myself and have a handyman in town.The lease terms do not include lawn maintenance or snow removal, however my tenant does not want to do it herself.My handyman is willing to do it for an additional fee if I provide the snowblower and lawn mower. 

If you're able to tick those two boxes you're off to the races!
