A nice hotel is $600/week, serves breakfast and has a pool.My rental houses are the equivalent of a nice hotel, with a kitchen and washer/dryer; at the price of a cheap motel. 22 houses, 82 beds. 

@Michael Ferry @Christina Berry The meet ups in the area are our meetup in middleburg hts monthly (~30 Cleveland folks, cuy falls, Medina, Akron folks), the Akron REIA (limited networking time normally) and a wealth building breakfast weekly (normally about fifteen people, mostly landlords and some hard money)You can get recommendations by asking for what you need at any of these.

Since I work nights (10:30pm-7:00am) my daytime schedule is funky but I can adjust my sleep schedule as needed if you wanted to get lunch rather than breakfast/coffee or dinner.

So, I started my own Meetup group, Apartment Investor Breakfast Club.

The laws in many states and towns will soon prohibit you from having more than one property as a homestay per city, and possibly require it to be your primary residence.It can be a lot of work to do daily/weekly housekeeping, guest check-in & out, and the HOSTING that i provide like touring them around the city or making breakfast.

The pics are of the living room wall with the air return hole and the other two are inside the wall looking to the top. there appears to be a 2x4 header however I am wanting to cut down about a foot and a half run  new 2x4 studs against the existing stud and put up a new header consisting of 2 2x4s about 6 ft long  to hold across the top of the breakfast bar. however I need to make sure this is sufficient there is no second floor just an attic above the wall. any one have any knowledge of this kind of situation. hope I made sence here.
